Spanish Peanut Cookies

Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Crisco Shortening or Margarine
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup White Sugar
1 Beaten Egg
1 TSP Vanilla
1 Cup Flour
1/2 TSP Soda
1/2 TSP Cream of Tartar
1/2 TSP Salt
1 Cup Salted Small Spanish Peanuts
1/2 Cup Fine Rolled Oats
3/4 Cup Corn Flakes or Rice Krispies
Directions:
Grease Cookie Sheet, Drop Dough with Spoon
Cook 325 Degrees on Upper Oven Rack
Flatten a Bit with Fork
Note:
The cooked cookies freeze well, however the dough does NOT.
